I am Samuel Fatunla, a Nigerian writer who writes personal essays and reflective pieces about life, relationships, growth, work, healing, writing, and the quiet lessons that shape people.
Most of my work on Medium comes from lived experience. I write about the thoughts people often feel but do not always know how to explain — the pressure of adulthood, emotional growth, relationships, self-awareness, discipline, failure, recovery, and becoming better with time.
Outside writing, I have a Civil Engineering background and professional experience in project operations, construction-related documentation, business communication, and process support. That part of my life also shapes how I think, observe, organise ideas, and understand work, people, and systems.
So, while Medium is where I share my reflective and human stories, it also reflects the wider range of my experience as a writer, engineer, and professional.
